help id this deck

hi there i have a 78 or 79 c-121/ c-101 has this 42 inch deck im trying to id also the lift link that rasies the deck has a big bolt in it does anyone have a pic of that connection  there are no numbers on deck

boy that really narrowed it down lol   is there anything to help narrow it down im looking for a few bearings for spindles and blades  and belt sizes for both the deck and pto

There is nothing magic about it.

The only thing I see is greasable spindles. Not all were.

Keep in mind the illustrated parts lists in most cases are shared with the 48" side discharge deck so the illustrations can be deceiving. They do not always show the parts for both deck sizes - belt covers are one item.

When you think you have an ID search our files using the deck model number. Belts and blades should be listed on the file description page. One link provided

bearings are probably  6203  2 rs  - 3/4" i d, pick up a 6 pack on e bay /amazon . grease seal  # 473380  , timken or related brand. also replace the  idler  pulley , common cause of deck noise. measure your blade size , compare to w/h  speck , these are also available , on amazon, e bay. you have not shown the bottom of this deck, usually never cleaned or scraped, if it scrapes out easily consider yourself lucky, my suggestion is to oil spray it down , to feed the metal and kill off the rusty grunge, get it upside down in the sun to hot bake in the oil , i do this regularly , it works . detail lube the deck height adjustment areas, that should work easily , i also use  LUCAS RED AND TACKY GREASE on my spindles, 550 temp drop point , no more bearing failure. your deck wheels don,t look bad , i would grease them also.   i used two  (  2  )  angle pry bars on the spindle mounting bolts , (  under the pulleys )  to pop them off , makes it simple and easy . good luck with it , pete

the underside is good and clean and the blades are round hole not the doubleD or whatever they call them i need to find where i can get a 11/8 inch 6 point socket and a 6 point box end i had to use pipe wrench and a 4 foot pipe to get the nuts off this time as my 12 point socket kept skipping lol

also the idler does it just float back and forth its spring loaded i know but the bolts are loose if i tighten them it locks the bar the idler is on

The tension bar slides on plastic washers and bushings which wear over time.
