pfrederi 17,666 #30 Posted September 27, 2019 Spent 5 years in Germany... traveled all over for work. Warsteiner is awful. Dortmunder and Palmbrau are much better. Heidelberger Schlossquell is awful. Echibaum in Mannheim is much better.

All brewery‘s you told are in the North section, upper the „Donau“ border. Southly of the historic Border to Bavaria (Donau) be a bit more to taste.. especial the smaller Brewery‘s have a lot to taste, you need several Weeks or maybe months for.. 😎 The Mass brewery‘s are not the best at all, the acting worldwide like Warsteiner, Paulaner, Löwenbräu, Augustiner The most Taste you can get from, is to try the smaller local brewery‘s in the south, there also few in north. König Ludwig Dunkel is out of compare, it‘s a league of it‘s own. Maxlrainer Weißbier, Dunkel Weißbier, Schlosstrunk and/or Kellerbier Tegernseer Weißbier, Helles, Hopf Weißbier, Helles, Dunkles, Kellerbier, Bockfotzn Andechser Helles, Dunkles, Doppelbock, Winterbock, some liquors Ayinger Helles, Dunkles, Weißbier, Celebrator, Maibock And many more, this are just a short rip, you can try..😎👍

Pullstart 62,792 #37 Posted October 3, 2019 There are so many pictures, I’ll try to stay in order with the travels... When we landed in Amsterdam, we simply found dinner, hung out for a bit at the restaurant, then slept until morning. The breakfast at the hotel was amazing! The next day, we traveled to Duisburg to see Jil’s family and stayed in nearby Oberhausen. She was at school in Heide (very far north) finishing some exams so we spent a couple days in Köln and Düsseldorf before seeing her. There were eight of us from the states traveling together, so you’ll see quite a bit of the same people in the photos. They are friends and family... both American and German In the pictures from the Cathedral, you’ll see a lot of artifacts. The cathedral was demolished during the war and in the excavation site, all these artifacts were found from centuries before.
Pullstart 62,792 #38 Posted October 3, 2019 Two of our friends flew to The Vatican City and met us in München, so they are missing from these pictures. In front of the Cathedral, is a bridge across the Rhine. Two years ago, I gave Mrs. Pullstart a 10 year anniversary ring and we celebrated with a lock on the bridge. We searched until it was found, then had a toast! If you’re ever there you can look for the “MBK” graffiti and look about a foot and a half down! 3 1
Pullstart 62,792 #39 Posted October 6, 2019 After Köln we visited a mansion in Düsseldorf that was destined as a summer house for a man of Congress, or the like. He didn’t enjoy the 2 weeks of travel from his winter home, so he never actually stayed there. He did however send his wife there to live, as they didn’t quite get along (arranged marriage to his cousin). Napoleon lived here in later years too. There may be a lot of random photos, but the marvelous creations of architecture and design really impress me. @formariz @The Tool Crib And other wood working gents I bet you’ll appreciate the wood work in both furniture and flooring! The original marble flooring is still intact so we were required to wear these stylish wool slippers. They slipped alright! The entire mansion was designed to mirror itself in most every room, so there are a lot of fake doors and a lot of hidden doors as well, for servant’s quarters and what not. The dance hall had a hole in the very top for the band to play from. It was as if “Music rained down from the heavens”. 1 3
