Could someone help me with determining what type valve stem I need to tube these tires?

I think you will find all tube valve stems are about 7/16" at the hole. If the holes are larger and guessing 5/8" there is a plastic bushing available so the valve stays centered in the hole.

A 15" car tube will work  a 235 x 15  is around 27" tall.  Tubes strech  lot better the one that's too large and folds up.

Not sure about this for sure, but didn’t one of the years they have Work Horse decals on the hood?

I don’t have to many pics of mine on my phone, it’s obviously a repaint and I did my rims completely different, but Terry sold me a set of Work Horse decals.

Somebody here like  @953 nut might know if there is any truth to it.

Not trying to be a downer here, but, unless I'm misinformed, the "Work Horse" was a specific model from the 1980's.

Decals still look good though.

Never mind. I don't know enough about WH history. I guess "Work Horse" has been around a long time.

What’s your history with this one? Have you owned it for a long time or is it a recent acquisition? Is it a functional worker or does it need work?

I always like to see another 1054A posted since they are a unique machine…I just wish there was more documented history of them in general, hence this thread!

Thanks for including your tractor🙌🏻

Hi Chris. Can I get the info on this sickle bar mower? I recently got running a 1054. Last guy custom built a dump bed on it so the rear of the tractor is useless for implements. But I could absolutely utilize a sickle like this and it would fit my needs perfectly here on the farm.

I no longer have that sickle mower. But I attached a photo of the manual for the style sickle mower you're looking for. The sickle mower for the 953 and 1054 is specific to that tractor. The mount setup is different for them specific models. But best of luck and feel free to ask any other questions.

Here you go. Currently it’s not operational. This thing drove for the first time in 15 years this past week. I have yet to tinker with the hydraulics. Although I’m timid because I’ve never worked on hydraulics before. I picked this thing up for $150. Score!

Love the look of that dump attachment,   :text-coolphotos:    seems like the steering may be a bit interesting if you had a load in it.          :auto-swerve:

I have yet to try it! The previous owner said he used it to haul dirt and other things around. So i will be curious to see how that affects it

My Trina and I both prefer a very light "off white" effect.

We use Rust-Oleum 2X Navajo White here.

It's an excellent match to the 60s and 70s wheels.
