T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,496 #1 Posted September 9, 2019 I picked up this 1944 Farmall B with a Henderson loader Saturday. It runs good, but the starter switch, even the new one, isn't making contact with the lug on the starter. I can fix that, with a couple of solutions, but for now, I'm just putting a wrench between the plunger on the switch and the arm that pushes against the plunger. Anyways, here are the pictures plus a video the seller sent me before I bought the tractor. 10 5 1
Achto 27,565 #2 Posted September 9, 2019 Very nice tractor!! Please be careful with it. Those narrow fronts with a loader can be dangerous.

AMC RULES 37,130 #4 Posted September 9, 2019 Sweet running old girl there. Shouldn't find yourself getting into too much trouble with that little bucket.
Sparky-(Admin) 21,314 #5 Posted September 9, 2019 Is the rear extra wide? And what is that bucket made for? Being so narrow it must have been built task specific.

T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,496 #8 Posted September 10, 2019 The rear is set in the "narrow" position, which is about 79 inches wide from outside of tire to outside of tire (70 inches from center of tires). The wide stance is 94 inches from center of tires, which probably translates to over 100 inches from outside of the tires. Farmall made a BN which was about 8 inches narrower than a regular B.
