That was refereed to as a summer kitchen, keeps the heat of cooking out of the house.

roadapples agree with you on that stove, that nickle trim was a step up model , making it a real looker if  maintained . fished a place in paradise valley Montana ,that had a small store , and fly shop in it . picture a  nickle bright finished , barrel wood stove , surrounded  with wood chairs , and a well dished wood floor under it, imaging the times and stories , that  setting could tell, enjoyed it , pete

I have one here similar to it.

Been in houses I've known my whole life.

My parents got it as a gift around 1980 from the (then owner) of an old farm house. Old friends of the family.

 

I'd told my parents for yeeears I would love to own it.

Couple years ago they told me to come get it.

 

Trina and I will eventually build a house shaped specifically so it can be used.
