Two wagons for my collection!! Update

Recommended Posts

The Tuul Crib

Thumming  through Facebook  and ran

across these two wagons for sale not far from me. Im going to pick them up on Friday. I know the one us a wheel horse

but not sure of the other. 50 bucks for both!

So I just got home with these two wagons in line them up and got to looking and they both have the same exact wheels as each other. The dust covers are all the same as well but I can't find any markings on the other. As I got to talking to the lady her husband had a wheel horse a few years back. I just connected the dots.

The "other" is definitely an Ohio Steel, which could be a wheel horse cart.

I agree.

That isn't a box store garbage trailer.

Ohio Steel made the trailers for several different tractor brands and Wheelhorse was one

Trina has one with a ROUND tongue which dates it to 1976 or 77.

Where yours is a rectangular tongue it's made after that.

The only way to know for sure if it was made for Wheelhorse is to find a sticker... But it's red. So if it's original paint it's either a 'horse trailer or marketed with "Ohio Steel" stickers.
