48 inch deck gauge wheel

Does anyone know of a replacement for the 2001 Wheel Horse 48 inch mower deck gauge wheels. Original  part number is 92-6959 but I would like to find something a little cheaper that the Toro price.

Welcome to red Square.  you can pick up plastic wheels at big box stores for small bucks...but they will fail much sooner but f your yard is not too rough may work out to be economical even if you have to replace every couple years....

I buy mine from the local Toro Dealer in my area and get over a ten year life span out of them is greased once a month. That turns out to be about 3 bucks a year. for a solid quality made pair of wheels with zerks.

Given the premium price why can't Toro put a check ball in the Zerk fitting.  Grease it t up and i spits a thin stream of grease back on  your garage floor
