Pullstart 62,791 #1 Posted August 14, 2019 My wife suggested we go to this auction yesterday. It was pretty fun! I ended up with 3 boxes of mason jars and a live trap for $14... The Dodge Brothers car went for around $14K. the JD “A” with a full set of cultivators went for $775. A diesel MF, $1900. I don’t recall the Kerosene Machine’s price, but if it would have been a bit more practical, I was tempted to bid! The JD “D” was $2150 if I recall. I wanted them to do the walk behind something or another, but they skipped right over that for a $500 1998 Chevy truck and we had run out of time as the auctioneers split the crowd and went it opposite directions. Does anyone recognize what it is? 7 1 1
CasualObserver 3,408 #2 Posted August 14, 2019 Cool.... that two wheeler looks like a Viking. I'd have to look through some books at home to see if I could find a good picture..... perhaps Professor Google might have one too...

I wasn’t as fortunate on winnings as the WI auction, but it was still fun however! This was only my second live auction ever, other than online bidding, etc. The people watching was great!

If it’s a true Viking, it won’t win any trophies! 1

It is a 36 if the car and truck grills were the same. My uncle that lived with us had a 36 Ford notch back 2 door dark blue. 953 nut 55,076 #8 Posted August 15, 2019 That is a Standard Twin, I have one setting in my barn that I hope to get to before I kick the bucket! The Viking and Monarch were the smaller brothers made by Standard Tractor Co.
wh500special 2,160 #9 Posted August 15, 2019 I don’t know what a car like that should bring, but those tractors seemed to be good deals for the buyers. I love the 8-16 internationals. They’re not super common and I’ve seen them bring big money. They were the first tractor with a rear PTO. Really a milestone. Steve
