Burnerman 758 #1 Posted August 10, 2019 Is this deck worth anything? It’s a 1969. Are there a lot of these still out there? This one needs new spindle bearings on each drive but is a solid deck. I only know the tach a matic stuff.
953 nut 55,091 #2 Posted August 10, 2019 They are not highly desirable to most people, but you could probably find a buyer in the classifieds.

jebbear 377 #4 Posted August 28, 2019 (edited) From the pics, it looks like a pretty solid deck. If you were a little closer to me, I might be interested in one just to have a "spare". I don't really need another, but I could offer it a good home! Just don't get rid of it for scrap , they don't make them anymore. Edited August 28, 2019 by jebbear Bumble thumbs! stevasaurus 22,711 #6 Posted August 28, 2019 That deck will fit any of the 1960 to at least 1967 and maybe even more. If the spindles and blades are good, it is worth anywhere from $25 to $100. Anybody using one of those horses to mow with would want it. They came in 32' or 36"...these are great for small yards with gates to navigate. Find it a good home.
Burnerman 758 #7 Posted August 28, 2019 Will do and thanks for the info. It’s in very good condition. Someone didn’t install the woodruff key in the one spindle gear and the blade tips collided. I thought something had stripped but found everything in perfect condition and the woodruff key stuck in grease next to the gear. 😀 The blades are pretty beat up. I may bring it to Jacktown next spring.
Stepney 2,325 #8 Posted August 28, 2019 Wish you were closer, I know someone looking for that type of deck. Good on you guys for saving it though. People really seem to like that design. I've never run one.
Burnerman 758 #9 Posted August 28, 2019 I toyed with the idea of trying to put a tach a matic on it but I’d hate to ruin it. It’s easily cleaned up for a show tractor or a Work deck.
