Burnerman 759 #1 Posted August 8, 2019 The muffler on my 10hp C101 finally has rusted out. I picked up another used one on EBay that isn’t as bad for $20 and we’re going to patch it up. Is there a cheaper decent replacement muffler? I’m thinking of fabbing something up. I’d like to keep it tucked in behind the grill and not to loud.

Burnerman 759 #3 Posted August 8, 2019 I was looking at them and the ones for the Gravelys with the 90° bend. Have you used one and are they fairly quiet?
pacer 3,174 #4 Posted August 8, 2019 I have used them exclusively for the last 2-3 yrs -- with the inlet on the side seems to make mounting up/down/sideways much easier. With the stock mufflers almost extinct, mounting after market is about the only choice and I find the rigging this muffler to different applications a plus. Course I have to say I am partial to stacks and thats what I usually do. As for being quiet I think they are 'just right' As an added plus they are quite reasonably priced - as shown in the link above.
