Pullstart 62,791 #1 Posted August 1, 2019 So, our summer has been ups and plenty of downs. I haven’t been on my Honda Shadow for about 3 years due to my hands going numb after a short amount of road time. Sunday afternoon I took my father in-law’s Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail on a 20 minutes or so ride with Mrs. P and my hands never went numb! He told me about one of his buddies selling an Electra Glide Ultra Classic and Monday we went to take a look at it. We picked it up last night and after numerous trips around the block with the family, NO NUMBNESS!!! A few years back we watched the Harley and the Davidsons documentary and I felt like I owed it to the brand to own one after that... I just didn’t plan on ever having such a behemoth bike! After watching that program, I also learned how important it is to reference not just Harley, but Davidson too. Without the team, they would never have gone anywhere in the bike world! 7

McGrew 460 #6 Posted August 1, 2019 Pullstart, I too have had problems with my hands going numb on rides. I have had 5 surgeries on my two hands... Three for trigger finger, and two for carpal tunnel. But gripping those handlebars for long periods still caused some numbness. FWIW, I ride a Harley Deuce. I found something that helped greatly, and they might work for you as well. HD sells fingerless leather gloves that had medical gel in the palms. I wore out about 4 pairs and will buy another when the current ones go bad... Danny
Pullstart 62,791 #7 Posted August 2, 2019 My first mod is complete! I had to finish under the camper lights, the shop’s too messy to bring it in right now... but it’s 3” lower in the rear AND I CAN TOUCH THE GROUND! 2
