Alex30 0 #1 Posted July 30, 2019 (edited) Hi so I found a Toro 520H that comes with 48" mower, 36" tiller, snowblower, bagger System, mid mount Blade and cab. Now the problem is the owner only used it for mowing so she is not confident if she has all parts for the attachments. Can someone that is familiar with the attachments and can tell me what I need to look for so each attachment is complete?? Anyone know the size of belt for the tiller and the power flow bagger??? Now the other problem is when you start the tractor it shuts down after only 5 to 10 seconds? Her neighbor assumed that its fuel related either dirty carb or fuel pump. The put a Honda tank on top of the hood for a gravity feed they said??? Any idea what could be wrong?? Now she was asking $1600 but after I looked at it and the tractor only runs for 5 seconds and she doesn't know if all parts are there for the attachments I decline her offer. But she wants $500 now. wallfish 16,985 #2 Posted July 30, 2019 (edited) For $500 you should be there picking it up already instead of typing! You can sort out the little stuff later on. If the engine runs fine with the added tank then the issue is the fuel getting to the carb. Could be as simple as a plugged up vent on the gas cap to needing a new fuel pump. gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,033 #3 Posted July 30, 2019 Welcome to the forum. Run don't walk. Best way to determine what parts are required for each attachment look at the IPL (illustrated parts list) but that requires model numbers. The attachment list can be found here. Picked 1994 but all years should be similar. The 520 has it's own column. Go into the manuals and do a search using the attachment model number as they are written. Let us know if you need help. oliver2-44 9,695 #4 Posted July 31, 2019 The tiller and mid mount blade are worth $500 or more even if they are missing a few items. Run, maybe even wear a

That last picture shows the rear axle bracket, used for the tiller, a snow plow, that grader blade, etc. The tractor has the mid mount and front tach-a-matic brackets, so if anything you’re looking at a few pieces parts here or there... but it looks like you’re sitting pretty good on what you need! cleat 5,810 #8 Posted July 31, 2019 Plus it shows a bracket already on the tractor so the pictured one is a spare. Only thing I can't see is the rear lift but it may be there as well.

WVHillbilly520H 10,373 #10 Posted July 31, 2019 I don't see the rest of the bagger... You have the power flow unit that hooks on the deck but I don't see the extension tube the hard cover 2 soft bags and the tubular hanger/rack that holds all that up . oliver2-44 9,695 #12 Posted July 31, 2019 I see the pulleys that mount on the side of the tractor and the rear lift spring for the tiller. so a lot of the tiller loose parts are there. I think I see the lift link on the center blade, so that would make the blade complete. have you picked it up yet?
Alex30 0 #13 Posted July 31, 2019 No i have not picked it up yet but i will most likely tonight. I am just little concerned about the attachments not being complete. How difficult is it to find parts for the attachments in Canada? I mean even if just smaller pieces are missing and hard to get by the attachments are useless!! Pullstart 62,799 #14 Posted July 31, 2019 (edited) There’s a pretty good network of parts right here on RedSquare. If you can’t find it, post a wanted ad and someone here will have extras Edited July 31, 2019 by pullstart Auto correct...
dcrage 627 #15 Posted July 31, 2019 (edited) I think that last picture shows most of the rest of the vac/bagger (2 soft bags, tubular frame they hang from and the hard “lid/cap”). If so all you are missing is a 6(?)” diameter tube running from the vac unit back to the bags. I don’t know if it is hard or soft plastic on this case. Go get this stuff. There is $1000 on the resale market in attachments there. Edited July 31, 2019 by dcrage
cleat 5,810 #16 Posted July 31, 2019 You can get parts in Canada, just the shipping is a bit more. So long as seller uses the mail VS couriers. I might have some of what you need possibly as well.
Stormin 9,981 #17 Posted July 31, 2019 $500 = £411 over here. That lot would be in my workshop straight off. Bits missing or not.
