oliver2-44 9,678 #1 Posted July 29, 2019 The subject of Ingersoll tractors case up, so I thought I would get any Colt, Case, Ingersoll owners on here to shown there tractors. I've had this 1965 Case 180 in the back of the barn for about 3 years looking for a few parts. here I had it out (non-running) on July 4th the first year I had it. It runns with a very tired Kohler k301. It runs about 30 minutes before the spark plug fouls. I pulle dthe head, and the bore is .011ths over. Really amazing it will still run! 2 weeks ago I got a 1965 Case 130. It was sitting right under my nose at a family friends farm. As you can see someone gave it a JD green paint job. Thankfully most of it came off with the pressure washer. The 130 and 180 are both 1965, 1 year only tractors. While I sort of hate to, I plan to pull a few parts off the 130 to make my 180 complete. my current thought is to wet sand and clear coat the 180 keeping it original looking. Then I'll keep looking for parts to make the 130 complete (anyone have a parts tractor?). Unfortunately the 130 is missing the hood. Due to the heavier rust pitting on the 130 from being in an open sided barn with a lot of cow manure, I'm thinking i may blast and restore it to factory new paint. Kind of cool, the 130 has the tool box that is hard to find. My 180 is missing this Case Eagle Mascot emblem known as "Ol Abe" I also got a mower deck with the 130
WHX?? 48,754 #2 Posted July 29, 2019 (edited) Somewhat a big following of Case fans around here Ollie and if I wasn't such a WH freak I would have a couple. Your best bet is hop on some of the other GT sites and shake some trees for parts. More than a few Case/Colt specific sites out ther this just being one of them. http://www.jicasecollector.com/index.html as well as the dreaded FB. WHNJ701 4,165 #3 Posted July 29, 2019 I have an early 1970s, hydrodrive 220, this was my wife's grandfathers, which he bought it the late 70s. tough machine, it's going to get redone at some point. unfortunately for about 5 years it sat out side uncovered until i got it. when I went to get I was able to get it running to drive on the trailer. I keep it in running condition now. I had the snowplow on it and pushed back brush piles with it. unfortunately the snow caster rotted beyond repair which was a shame by far the case snowblower is the best I have seen.
