C-100 Rear Lift Cable?

Recommended Posts

cslxt8

Hello,

I just acquired a c-100 in pretty decent shape. I am wanting to use it with my tiller but it doesn't appear to have a cable for the rear lift. It does have a tube where it appears a cable should pass through. This is a different design than my c-111 with the rockshaft connected to the cable.

Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction on how it should route through and maybe the correct length? I have not been able to find a manual to assist yet.

Thanks,

C

Rear lift cable for the C-100  is 22" long ...in a  conduit... that fits under the tool box.  It looks like this and is part # 8277.

Check with Lowell at WheelHorsePartsandMore.com he has the cable you need.  He is in our vendor section.

Awesome, thank you both! I will check it out, hopefully have the tiller on it in time to get the garden ready for fall beans!

I have gotten by with some aircraft cable and saddle clamps from the hardware store. Not as fancy but it did work.

Something ,like this...all from hardware store.  36-46" shielded cable, 2 'loops', 4 saddle clamps, 2 collars, 2 fender washers,.  I have the saddle clamps backward, but you get the idea.

That's a really good idea! Thanks for throwing that out there. I may have the parts laying around the garage to put something like this together.
