oliver2-44 9,729 #1 Posted June 28, 2019 (edited) Saw this, I seem to see quite often where some one paints it green and yellow and calls it a John Deere. Owner says its a 1960 model. I'm fairly sure JD didn't start selling garden tractors until 1963, with the 110 model. So what tractor is impersonator. diesel cowboy 263 #3 Posted June 28, 2019 That's a Magna-Trac. No relation to the Struck MagnaTrac. If you Google it you have to put the dash in otherwise just the Struck dozers show up. I have 2 of them and have seen a third. If I remember right 1960 is about the right vintage. If you looking to get it and restore it, unless he wants next to nothing for it it's not really worth it. They had a funny cone type clutch setup that's missing and is probably next to impossible to find. There's a Yahoo group about them here: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/MagnaTracGT/conversations/messages Hasn't had any activity since Aug. of last year but there's a bunch of pictures. oliver2-44 9,729 #6 Posted June 28, 2019 Thanks @diesel cowboy I knew someone here could ID it. I like the unusual one, but I think I’ll pass on that one.
