Good news is all the sweat fittings are leak free! By the way, shouldn’t you be building a horse barn right now? Good answer and good comeback.lol. I should be but my neighbor’s dog kept barking at me earlier and I’m trying to keep a low profile. I did not get a permit. Because I would have been denied. My other neighbor moved because the township made him stop building his 10’ gazebo. They said it was too much ground coverage. 1
Pullstart 62,783 #52 Posted July 1, 2019 We have a functioning water heater! Some of the piping that I loosened to drain the boiler system is weeping, so I need to address that next.

Pullstart 62,783 #54 Posted June 27, 2021 A story of loss and flooding was our trip home 2 years ago after the Big Show. Luckily today, we still have power and a good sump pump. It has rained many inches for days at home and places that have never flooded are sweeping cars away. My “bro” buddy just 2 miles from us was nice enough last night to go pump down our pool. If too much water were to get behind the liner, well, that would be a big issue. He had to drive through this to get out of his driveway... normally this little stream is about 5’ under the bridge. 2

Some people would just stay home if their driveway was flooded like that. 1

8ntruck 6,991 #59 Posted June 27, 2021 Yup lots of rain lately. I'm about an hour to the north east from @pullstart. The small lake we are on is up about 6". About 3" of that came in the last 24 hours.
Stormin 9,981 #60 Posted June 27, 2021 There's a saying, "What North America gets today, the UK gets next week". Can you not keep it over there, please!

Handy Don 12,140 #62 Posted June 27, 2021 Good neighbors are a real treasure. A LOT of people in the U.S. west and southwest, where there is ongoing multi-year drought, would have loved having that rain go "left" instead of "right"
8ntruck 6,991 #63 Posted June 27, 2021 We all should be wanting it to go left instead of right. That would help the ag industry out west. Higher yields might help lower food prices... 4
SylvanLakeWH 25,489 #64 Posted June 27, 2021 2 hours east of @pullstart… we got 4.2” of rain but very close by got over 6”!!! Lots of flooded / closed highways, basements etc… We’re high and dry but our lake is only 2” from top of sea wall… Solid week of rain forecast. I hope the weather forecasters are as wrong as usual…

Pullstart 62,783 #67 Posted June 28, 2021 We’re home, trailer plugged in and that’s good enough for the night. Everything is dry and there are some nearby washouts where recent construction took place, but otherwise it looks like we could actually use some more rain on the lawn if you can believe it!

YOU SHUT YOUR MOUTH! I live on a hill so it doesn't impact me much, but, the rivers in town are CRAZY.
