gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,048 #2 Posted June 26, 2019 Welcome to the forum. Beautiful example. We do not have much on the 706 and what we do have is in poor condition. Would you mind posting the serial number? Garry

Pullstart 62,916 #12 Posted June 26, 2019 I just noticed the lack of a seat pad. Was this the way they came, or is it missing the pads?
dells68 7,498 #13 Posted June 26, 2019 That’s a great looking tractor!!! Making me want to go check out an 857 not too far away. I really like the short frame tractors with the narrow tires on back. Very sharp!

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,048 #16 Posted June 26, 2019 For some reason I missed the 706 serials when I copied them to the forum from the original database so have them here now. From the old not updated list I added the serial before the 706's started and the serial following them to show the possible numbers produced. It appears they were all built in a single batch. Wheel Horse seldom published production numbers. 1966 serial numbers that have shown up for the 706 177909 - is a L-156 Lawn Ranger (Originally had 177785 here) - Edited 180976 - Located in UK 180986 - Located in UK 181152 - Located in England 181158 - Located in Sweden 181183 - Located in Sweden 181640 - is a model 1276 Garry

Retired Wrencher 5,465 #22 Posted December 7, 2023 People tell at shows they see these tractors every where but they like others brands better. I always say to them WE ARE WORLD WIDE. That usually ends the conversation.
