Gary Ginsberg 0 #1 Posted June 24, 2019 Wheel Horse 312H transmission leaking left rear side where the plow attaches, near the rear axle. Did not leak before the fluid and filter were changed. The forward motion lever creeps back and constantly slows down when moving forward. Any ideas for me? pfrederi 17,885 #2 Posted June 24, 2019 Leak could be the axle seal you need to clean it and then ID specific site for the leak.
JAinVA 4,622 #3 Posted June 24, 2019 (edited) Creeping can be a matter of adjustment.Tilt the seat forward and with the tractor off move the motion control lever while looking down. You should see a nut with a large washer under it that resists motion.Tigten the nut until the lever does not creep anymore and do not use any lubricant on the washer or plate surfaces.Tip of the red pen is the nut you need to tighten.
