3QTR40 6 #1 Posted June 22, 2019 Hello all! I have a 1972 Commando 800 model number 1-0110 and my differential axle gears (pt# 3908)have completely stripped. I guess plowing the garden this spring was a bit much. The diff pinion gears are in fine shape. I have searched high and low and can’t seem to be able to locate a set of these gears. Anyone out there have a source? These are for the 1” axle shafts. Any help is much appreciated!
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,096 #2 Posted June 22, 2019 Looks like the 3908 gears are still available from Toro https://www.partstree.com/parts/toro/parts/3908/ They may be available here also https://wheelhorsepartsandmore.com/about-us.html A possible source for used gears https://a-ztractor.com/ Garry

3QTR40 6 #6 Posted June 24, 2019 A-z has 18 in stock! Thank you all! I remembered this sight from about 15 years ago when I got my first wheel horse (a 702). Glad you guys are still around. I saw the new gears, but wasn’t too excited about the price...
