stevebo-(Moderator) 8,330 #1 Posted June 18, 2019 All- Leaving today to stay in Gettysburg tonight. The boy and his buddy and I will be looking to go on some sightseeing tours of the civil war. Weather looks like rain so what do you suggest we do or any specific tours you would suggest?

SPINJIM 1,981 #3 Posted June 18, 2019 Audio-tour of battlefield was good. If I remember correctly, they rent you a disk to play (and pause as your want) to take you through various events of the battle as you drive around a preset course. Stay dry inside your car, and get a history lesson. Jim

adsm08 2,022 #9 Posted June 18, 2019 There is the Lincoln Museum. Don't remember the address, but there is a Friendly's next door. It has some other interesting historical screw ups in the displays as well.
