adsm08 2,022 #4 Posted June 17, 2019 (edited) Bring your rain boots anyways boy. I'm about half that distance from the fair ground and it has been WET the last two days. I was at the Senators game yesterday, their was a 7 minute rain delay. It took them so long to decide to get the tarps out that by the time they were done unrolling them they were being told to roll them back up because it wasn't raining anymore. We got clobbered a few years back and there was hardly any mud Drainage has little to do with the type of rain we have been getting here the last few days. This is the long, slow, soaking rain, punctuated by downpours a couple times a day. The ground is going to be saturated no matter how well it drains.
Pullstart 62,782 #9 Posted June 18, 2019 I might have to call for a tow just to get in! Norman is a lot of magical things, but 4 wheel drive he is not.

ericj 1,578 #11 Posted June 18, 2019 just a reminder that any damage to the show grounds the club is responsible for, in the past we had people doing donuts in the grass field out back and other running their tractors through the wood and in the mud. The fair board can and will hold us responsible for this damage and could even refuse to rent to us if it where to get too bad. SO PLEASE resit the urge ( to have a little bit of fun of punching it) and tell other you see doing things that they shouldn't be doing to stop. we don't need anybody getting hurt or worse and don't need the fair board coming down on us don't mean to be a Debbie downer just trying to avoid hassles down the road eric j 6
AMC RULES 37,127 #12 Posted June 18, 2019 Would seriously be a shame to see the riding aspect of this show go away. 1

Pullstart 62,782 #14 Posted June 18, 2019 That’s the reason I’m bringing the family. @ericj I’ll be the loudest “dad voice” on the grounds if my girls disrespect the property. I too, will do my best to keep the truck moving and not spinning
