Sparky-(Admin) 21,398 #1 Posted June 13, 2019 I hate to bring it up and I know it’s still a week away . Been texting back and forth with Howard @857 horse and he brought up the weather. Scary subject ...but....it needs to be talked about. Will we need sun-screen or umbrellas?

squonk 41,287 #5 Posted June 13, 2019 The weather report will change 6 times before next Wednesday. I don't even bother checking the forecast until the Tues. before. 3 1

AMC RULES 37,134 #8 Posted June 13, 2019 So, we'll have lots of humidity in the big show's forecast...sounds pretty normal to me. Summertime in Penna, what's not to love.

The humidity is good for you. Opens up the pores and lets the bad humors out.
dells68 7,498 #10 Posted June 14, 2019 Is that what that is? I always thought that was the bathrooms or swamp behind the swap area😂🤣😂!

rmaynard 15,580 #12 Posted June 16, 2019 Pack accordingly. Here's the 10-day forecast. 1
stevebo-(Moderator) 8,340 #13 Posted June 16, 2019 It is not gonna rain 🧐
rmaynard 15,580 #14 Posted June 16, 2019 Very possible. I have been helping to build a deck 50 minutes from the show. The forecast is for heavy rain in the afternoon so we start earlier in the morning. Then evening gets here and no rain. If no rain is forecast, we get soaked. Meteorologists are the only folks who can be wrong 90% of the time and still keep their jobs.
953 nut 55,700 #15 Posted June 16, 2019 That is the best forecast I have seen for the show in several years. Now let's see how accurate it is. I have a Meteorologist Degree from KMart and my guess is we will only have some late evening rain and there won't be any tents destroyed by the gentle showers.
RedHorse54 578 #16 Posted June 18, 2019 Looks like the rain is gonna hold off for Friday! Thursday looks like a wet one though
rjg854 11,451 #17 Posted June 19, 2019 It may rain, but that doesn't mean it will be an all day affair. It most always rains at the Show. Just makes it easier to get together and talk and meet new people. So in a way its a goodthing.
