AkronMows 0 #1 Posted June 13, 2019 First time poster and reaching out to the pros here before I dig into the issue as I'm unfamiliar with hydrostatic drives and the related components on my 260 series tractor. I can rebuild my 8-32 in my sleep but I haven't dug into this other rider yet. I have a 260 series riding mower with an adjustable deck lift that has been showing signs of failing. It used to stay at the adjusted height until a few days ago - it would slowly drop over a period of hours. Now the deck won't lift without holding the switch for a while - and the deck only goes up about halfway and drops back down as soon as you let off the switch. Am I right in thinking it's the lift actuator (either failed/leaking)? No other symptoms, it still drives, cuts and runs fine, just stuck with the deck always down. Thanks in advance!
