WH Attachment value

Came across a lot of WH attachments on CL that I found interesting. What looks to be a clean, straight dump cart (no damage to the dump lip on the back), what looks like a WH slot hitch rear plow (the one that turns dirt), a WH slot hitch harrow (the W shaped one with the spikes out the bottom), a disc aerator, a plow & frame (dont know the model though, looks like a short frame 42"), and a set of tire chains.

 

The ad said to make an offer, so I offered $300 to see where they would be at. Said hed rather do $400 for the lot.

 

I'd personally like the rear spike harrow and the dump cart, and maybe the plow as it's in better shape them mine (if it fits), but dont care much for the rest.

 

Not sure the value on these items.

the guys down in Connecticut should answer this because that's your area but I would say that pile of stuff IF IN GOOD SOLID USABLE CONDITION and functional and not to rusty is worth an easy $600 to $700, all day everyday. At $400 for the pile of it I'd already be on my way over there.

He said someone tried to lowball him and offered $50 for the dump cart only, but nobody had made an offer on the lot yet.

 

Edit: I figured an average of $100 per item (except the chains) would bring it to about $500. But I figured I'd throw $300 out to see what they said.

That's pretty reasonable. I think each item is worth at LEAST $100. I don't really know the value of farm and garden implements.

 

 

if the garden cart, tub is solid and original and has the correct wheels and isn't all bent up. it's worth $150, minimum.

I had seen that add, the items he's selling are in Very Nice Condition and look complete.  The dump trailer looks to have it's original tires on it.  I had considered giving me a call but I just done have the room.  $100 bucks an item is a good deal.  Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. Room and funds are a little tight for me right now, but I figured if I got it for a good price, I could sell some of the items and recoup most or my money, while still keeping some of the items too.

He also asked if I'd be interested in a tractor. No idea what it is, or if it's even a WH. I told him I'd look at it when I'm there, but no promises.

Welp, that was a bust. Guy didnt answer the phone and nobody was at the house when I went to meet him. Left 2 voicemails, one prior to me coming (as he requested) and one when I got there. Drove around for 30 minutes, then went back, still no signs of life at the house he told me to go to.

 

Either his phone died and he forgot we were meeting today, or he didnt like the price we settled on and no-shows. Listing is still up on CL, even though we settled on a price Thursday and I told him I'd be there Saturday (today).
