Locking throttle cable

It wants to keep slipping in is there anyway to fix it ?

For the push pull type, the way I do it is cut off the Z bend and pull the wire out of the conduit. Put a slight bend in the wire to create friction between it and the conduit wall. Slide the wire back in and make a new Z bend. Just be careful because too much of a bend in the wire will create too much friction so test it before making the new Z bend.

Or you can go the easy route and use clothes pins or small vice grips to clamp the rod near the knob

Thanks Im trying the unhook and bend hopefully there enough cable left to bend new zz ? hook

With the wire pulled out, you can cut the conduit a little shorter with wire cutters to expose more length of the wire end if needed.
