Can anyone help finding year of this tecumseh motor off a 603. I need a carburetor.

That engine is a replacement.Look for one for a H60.

Welcome @Nathan!  I recently tossed a Kohler carb on a Tecumseh and it runs pretty good!

I would recommend a kohler carb. I say this because my daughters which use to be mine suped up workhorse 800. i mounted a 12 hp tecumseh on it years ago and got tired of the tecumseh carb never working right and i mounted a kohler carb and have never had another issue with it running. I did the fix back 1998 she is still going. But like 953 nut said you can find a carb on ebay just look at the reviews first there is alot of cheap crap that has to many flaws.

      Hi all, on a 1977 Wheelhorse C-100 (Belgium made), I have a question 

      My Wheelhorse hood opens really far- it does eventually stop but I don't think it is meant to go this far and that there's a piece missing. 
       
      In this photo, there's a hole you can see (near the middle of the pic, 1/3 down) and the same on the other side of the hood mounting part of the frame- I assume some sort of bar is meant to go between them that the hood latches at the base will catch on and this stops the hood dropping further when opened? If this makes no sense sorry- I have simply always assumed that the hood is meant to open at a right angle from the front, but having seen videos, I can see most stop before that. 
       
      Does anyone know the part I need, or would two bolts, one on each side, do the job? Mine has never had one, so I am unsure.

      Need some help deciding on a brand of engine to buy for my 1054. (Needs to be a diesel 10 hp+) I’m refining used motor oil/cooking oil for fuel for it. So it will have to have an option to run used oil and diesel

      Hi All, I’m a member of the RedSquare Facebook group, some of you may have seen My tractor there. I have a 1992 312-8 with a 37 inch deck. It came with a house my brother bought, and was given to me. It needed work but just minor things. I mow my lawn with it, and I just bought a plow to push snow/dirt so it’s a working restoration. It was relatively well taken care of by the previous owners so it really just needed a refresh. Anyway see you around the site!

      Never thought I could land a Special 603 but today I did, no engine & rough around the edges but for sure rebuildable. 
      So this is some of my Herd that are special
      54-PT20 Walk Behind, 57-RJ35, 5-701s, 702, 1045, 34R, 78- C-161, 1st year Blackhood Fiberglass Hood, Ark 500 FEL on the only tractor I ever bought new 2004 315-8 (regrets that I traded my C141 I grew up with showing me how great WH is, wasn’t collecting than)
      and have to mention best deal ever was the C85 w/snow blower I won at the Big Show in 2021 at the raffle 5$ of tickets.
