pgiro 36 #1 Posted May 24, 2019 Hello, I have D-160 with a 48" deck. The left side of the deck does not have a roller wheel like most other decks I've seen. As a result, it scalps the grass quite a bit when using it. From the document, it looks like it did not come will a roller on that side. I would like to add one but it's not a separate part # and would normally be part of the main deck assembly and be welded on. Does anyone know where I can get that bracket preferably with the roller wheel? Maybe someone has an old scrap deck and they can sell me that bracket? Don't know exactly what model deck I have, but see attached image for example of one without roller on left side and the other image is what I'd like to add. Thanks in advance for any help. gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,033 #2 Posted May 24, 2019 Your deck looks like model 5-1220. Click on the pictures. 1975 deck has a roller on the chute The 1976 deck shows the corner rollers Some later decks could also be used. Look through these https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/search/?&q="5-1221"&type=downloads_file&search_and_or=or&sortby=relevancy Garry
pgiro 36 #3 Posted May 25, 2019 Hi Gary, You're exactly right that it's a 5-1220 deck. Just checked the tag and it says "5-1220 9" The manual that I have for that doesn't show a roller on the side that I'm referring to as the left side (not the chute side) and the deck I have doesn't show any evidence that it ever had a roller there. Picture I just attached only shows a roller in the middle.
