nylyon-(Admin) 7,268 #1 Posted May 24, 2019 I have changed the theme of the forum to one which is patriotic. This weekend we honor those and their families, who have sacrificed their lives for us all. I wish everyone a healthy Memorial day weekend, and appreciate those who served the great nations of the world! Please remember, you can change the theme back to RedSquare by selecting "Theme" at the very bottom center of each page. 8 3
WHX?? 48,779 #2 Posted May 24, 2019 Yes please keep in mind this is not just an extra day off work. A moment of silence through out your weekend to remember our Great Granddads and his sons and daughters for their sacrifice. 5
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,496 #3 Posted May 24, 2019 Thanks, Karl. Let's not forget what it took to obtain and keep our freedoms we enjoy today, and all those who sacrificed themselves. Let's also not forget those who are now currently away from their homes, their families, their friends and their comforts to continue maintaining our freedoms. 4
Pullstart 62,791 #4 Posted May 24, 2019 The camper is packed, the meat is ready to grill, there’s a fridge full of refreshments. All thanks to some I remember and some I’ve never known, fighting without proper cover, rations or direction in some cases, sometimes not knowing when they’ll have the chance to see their loved ones. I’m forever thankful to those men and women and will be sure to take some time to remember them. Last weekend I watched Hacksaw Ridge for a second or third time. I’m still awestruck when I watch it. To think of all the people who lived it.... 2
