For you guys who do a lot of transaxle rebuilds this may be something you have seen before.I took the seal pick and the left seal came right out I go to the right side and all I get is rubber peeling out.Metal section will rotate but not come out.Big Ugly just wants to fight me at every turn.

When I've had a troublesome one,  I've just run a drywall screw into it and yanked it out.... not like you're planning on reusing it.

I don't know how the D Series are set but I use a 3/16 or 1/4 wide flat screwdriver and basically smash a dent or two into the seal right on the outside edge.

Then pry them out with the same screwdriver.

This seal came out of a Eaton 1100.The few seals I have done on the manual and hydro transaxles were of the shallow type. The seal I had trouble with was 3 times thicker.I don't know if it was original or a replacement but it sure was a surprise.

I don't know why, but I read this in the voice I use with my kids when I'm explaining the same simple concept for the 5th time that hour.
