Local Toro dealer couldn't help me find Axle seals for my 67 T877, transmission is the 5052, original part # 5958. Any help would be appreciated!

The original 5958 was replaced by 100607 and now Toro does not have it either.

A Chicago Rawhide or SKF number is 9878 available from a bearing and seal supplier or Napa.

Check in this section above and it should

give you cross reference numbers . Then check with your local napa. They should have what you need.

I checked the PDFs first...no 5052.

Hello, I recently changed the transmission oil in my 1973 8hp no name and now one of the axle seals is leaking.

Should I just replace the one seal or when they reach this point do you generally replace both sides or do even more maintenance? Also, where can I find the right parts? By a little research I think this is a 5085 transmission but I'm not positive. It just has 3 forward and reverse, no hi/low.

      Thanks, Tim
