grinchsr 626 #1 Posted May 13, 2019 Will a Model 6 6611 snow blower fit a 71 Charger? I am not familiar with that tractor. Another question is the PTO. Does it take the standard PTO bell or does it need an electric clutch?
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,033 #2 Posted May 14, 2019 The 6-6211 is the basic unit. At the time this is the way they were supplied. The Chargers required a 6-9111 completing package so don't know what you have. In 1969 a pto was required 8-3111 or 8-3511 except tractor model 1-7245 which is an Electro 12. Click on each picture. This is what was required in 1969. Now on the 1971. This is what was sold in 1971 and the completing package No mention of a pto requirement in 1971 so you may have what is required. Looks like the drive belt went from 1/2" wide to 5/8" so a pulley change on the snowthrower may be required. Let us know what you think. Garry
grinchsr 626 #3 Posted May 14, 2019 Thanks Garry. I guess I really don't know my 70's tractors. Never knew they required a completing kit. Thanks for the knowledge.
