Stepney 2,325 #1 Posted May 10, 2019 Hello, all. Seems a few HY-6 units have been kicking around the forums lately and were said to be a bit less common. Funny enough all 3 of my WH's are HY-6 machines. A 1966 1076, retrofitted by the dealer in '68. My Electro 12, and a Charger 9, though it's valve has since been replaced with bits of a log splitter.. Anyway. I've been doing some searching around, and I feel like perhaps a year ago I saw a kit for rebuilding them, but now I can't find anything. Mine are both working OK with little leakage.. but they are back into daily use now and I would like a backup plan in case of a failure. Does anybody rebuild these units?
