fourwheels0 191 #1 Posted May 10, 2019 I got a seal for my 520h and I believe it's the wrong one. I got part #11124. What is the part number for the thicker seal?.
WHX?? 49,168 #2 Posted May 10, 2019 Guess I don't know what your saying about the thicker seal but I use a 11124 SKF seal from NAPA. Works fine lasts a long time for me. Installation issues perhaps we can help out with?

pfrederi 17,881 #8 Posted May 10, 2019 The 11124 will work just fine. modern seals are thinner than they used to be.

That's bizarre .. every one of the OEM ones I changed out was like the 11124's. Check the shape of that outboard bearing while you have the hub off. Any slop and you will be wasting money on a new seal. Also don't forget a little black tape over the keyway. Guys have been reporting the sharp edges can nick the seal. Yes .. Thanks for the link @gwest_ca
fourwheels0 191 #10 Posted May 10, 2019 Seems like the thick seal is nla. Been replaced with the thinner one. Same part number though. I have pics of both on facebook wheel horse junkies.
