Looking for some Help with the ID of a none Wheel Horse tractor

Hello All,

 

I have a chance to get an old tractor, I'm being told it's an Atomic Babe.

I'm having a hard time finding any info or pictures of this tractor.

I have found that it could possibly be a Haney or a Garvar

The tractor I'm looking at has a lot of extra's welded on to it.

Going to have to do a lot of grinding if this goes through.

Any info you know or have heard of these tractors would be greatly appreciated

Its a Wisconsin 2 cylinder

Well I did end up getting this tractor. I believe it to be an Atomic Babe with a different motor on it. Rare and rough but I like it. Going to be a while before I get to it.

From the little bit I can see in the second picture that looks like a Bendix 7.5" drum brake on the back.

Bendix was basically the only maker of stock automotive brakes for American cars for a long time. Their 7.5, 9 and 10 inch brakes were each used on at least one vehicle by the Big Three, for over 30 years before rear discs became nearly standard on everything. Never seen one on a lawn tractor.

 

The cooling fins were a hallmark of the 7.5, which is a fairly small drum, and could actually fit well inside a lawn tractor's rear wheel. Some variations of the 9 and 10 inch drums also have the fins, but they aren't common.
