Jmshocker 3 #1 Posted April 30, 2019 I have a 1967 877 horse with a hydro trans and it has the HY-6 hydraulic unit. It leaks some down the hoses, I have replaced the hoses. My next step is to use some pipe thread sealer on the ends to see if that helps, but does anyone know where to get a rebuild kit for the hydraulic unit or a reman unit? I would assume they are rebuildable but I can only find rebuild kits for the 2 and 3 models. Thanks in advance!

oliver2-44 9,695 #5 Posted May 1, 2019 (edited) We would love to see some pictures of your tractor and the Hy6 unit. I only knew of a Hy 2 and Hy3 so I learn something on here every day. There's lots of excellent help here, but .... Edited May 1, 2019 by oliver2-44 1
oliver2-44 9,695 #6 Posted May 1, 2019 PS I did some searching, and the HY6 seems to be somewhat of a rare unit.
Jmshocker 3 #7 Posted June 6, 2019 I’ll find some time to take pictures. It’s in pretty nice shape. My grandpa bought it new in 67. I have two hoods for it. One with lights and one without. I have a big wheel horse utility trailer, a dozer/snow blade, a snow thrower, a mower deck, and front and rear wheel weights with a spare set of rear bar tires and wheels filled with calcium chloride. Lots of spare parts from over the years. The only thing not wheel horse on it is the fuel pump. The original one died (still have it) but it was replaced with a remote plastic version. DBlackston 298 #8 Posted June 8, 2019 Interested in pictures of the manifold block for an HY-6. I have a rockshaft for one and the foot rest bracket but those are the only parts I have.
