B80 vs B60 Axles

Recommended Posts

ET160

I'm having some difficulty finding an axle shaft for my B80 (1" dia, 10.5" length).  I may be able to get one for a B60.  Are they the same by chance?

I don't have the answer as to whether a 60 and an 80 is the same.

I kind of thought the 60 was smaller but I've never seen one in person.

I'll check my shelf when I get home. I don't know if I have any of those axles.

Have you tried A to Z tractor?

The b60 is a clone (less lights and electric start)to a c120/c160 and uses the 1 1/8" axles. Be careful of B80 parts the 74-75 used 1" axles, 76-77 used 1 1/8".

I'm kind of thinking that a lot of the three or four speeds use the same axle shaft provided they had the correct C clip or pin set up. I'm sure one of the  experts will be along at some point.

I never understood the B-60. The ones I have seen use the 1 1/8" axle with the heavier duty differential .. then the B-80 model. Anyway, the answer is no, depending on the year. But maybe off a later model? Sorry not much help here.
