Probably your 3523 gear (high/2nd) is the problem because some one was shifting on the fly rather than coming to a complete stop. You can get a new one from Lowell   https://www.wheelhorsepartsandmore.com/transmissions.html#!/3523-3rd-gear/p/84932562/category=23548039     While you are at it this is a good time to renew all the seals and your axle bearings too.

This thread will show all the steps.

Nice I'm going to probably need PARTS? Always the big question gasket to go around case. news axle seals . New gear. Are they still out there available?

ALL of those parts are available from Lowell at Wheel Horse parts and more.

that's a pretty easy fix to do. Basic mechanical tools and some care and caution and cleaning.

When your ready to dig in to it, flush the transmission with diesel or kerosene.  Just drain the gear oil and put 2+ quarts of diesel in the transmission.  Drive it around shifting into each gear for about 15 minutes. Jack up the front of the tractor when you drain the diesel to get what trapped by the hump in the bottom of the transmission. If the gear oil was really gray/brown and the diesel flush looked really dirty, i have flushed them with diesel a second time. This sure make it a little cleaner job when you split the transmission open.

It's open now looks terrible for sure high gear some other ones don't look to good either. Think I will get by with a gear gasket and axle seals .

Probably reach your max postings. If you become a supporting member there is no max. And no ads.

Well worth it, and helps keep the lights on around here.

I don't know how to get to the link from my phone...

Perhaps @stevasaurus could give it to you.

You'd become a supporter and have your name in red.
