76c12091520h 3,665 #1 Posted April 22, 2019 Has anyone put larger front tires on a 520h? More specifically i'm looking at putting Carlisle Turfmaster 18-8.50X8 on the fronts. Just wondering if anyone has tried it cuz it looks like it'll be a tight fit near the tie rod end. Thanks
ericj 1,578 #2 Posted April 23, 2019 I put the 5 rib 18x8.50x8's on the front of my loader tractor. no clearance issues that I've noticed. They are a tab bit big and look a little funny on the front of the 520, even with the loader on. That just my worth. i would do it again though. My only other option for the 5 ribbed tires would have been 16x6.50x8, and I think they would have been to small for the loader. Also it does sort of sit the front end a bit up in the air higher then the factory 16x7.50x8, which might only be a problem if you mow with the tractor eric j

Plus they have a lot heavier load rating which I think is good with the loader.
Lee1977 6,771 #4 Posted April 23, 2019 I put 18x650x8 Turf Masters on the 520 it's a 1989 didn't want a wide tire as it has regular WH steering. It steers like it has power steering. I also put 24x950x12 Turf Masters on the rear The 24s are not much bigger around then the 23x1050x12 I put on the C-120 back in 1990.
