JAinVA 4,619 #1 Posted April 20, 2019 Looks like another long night.Last Monday night the weather radio woke me up at 3:00 am with a tornado warning. No problems here but it didn't stop issuing warnings until around 6:00 am.The radio has been sounding alerts since 6:00 PM this evening. For the money I highly recommend a weather radio. You may lose some sleep but it can save you if you live in a tornado prone area. 5

ebinmaine 67,271 #4 Posted April 20, 2019 Yepp. We watch the NWS and NOAA websites VERY carefully when planning hikes and to some extent in day to day living. Hope all's well with you and yours.
SylvanLakeWH 25,490 #5 Posted April 20, 2019 Got one for the office few years back... Very useful, so picked one up for home as well... May be annoying in middle of the night but you aren’t watching the sky or the internet when you sleep...
