That's quite a compliment for her in particular because she's the one that spent roughly three weeks refinishing it. I may have done a thread about that a year or two ago. This table is 42" Square in these photos. There are 6 leaves I think? It expands out to around 7 feet in length. She used a palm type electric sander for the whole surface and hand sanded whatever else it wouldn't reach including all six legs. I really have almost no idea how many hours she had into this but as you are all well aware once she gets something in her head, it's going to get finished. This table sat under a 4 by 8 foot piece of 3/4 plywood for probably 15 years just used as a storage shelf. The surface stain you see in the foreground was the result of something like acetone or lacquer thinner or whatever ... a couple decades ago.
