Sarge 3,463 #3 Posted April 13, 2019 That is definitely a home-brewed part - they used the common 2" heavy wall structural tubing. I wouldn't trust it on anything over a very light aluminum snowmobile trailer - that thing is going to put an incredible amount of stress on the transaxle housing and will probably crack the casting with any real weight on or against the ball hitch. You have to keep in mind that these tractors will pull several tons easily, but stopping that weight is an entirely different matter and can result in destroying the tractor, trailer damage and possible injury to the operator. The best option for moving larger trailers is to use a bigger, more capable machine - a 3pt hitch and proper adapter will do a lot more heavy lifting.
