ACman 7,618 #26 Posted April 24, 2019 Nice work Dells’s on your childhood friend ... I always wanted to get the Cub Cadet 1250 that’s just setting in the weeds at the farm . Same as you lots of seat time and memories .
dells68 7,498 #27 Posted May 5, 2019 Well, told you I was moving slow! Emory woke up last night with his ear really hurting. We had to take him to the dr and found out he has an canal infection and an inner ear infection. Dr said it was extremely painful. The only good came in the form of me getting to come back home and mess around on Sunday first time in a long time. I had been working on the bodywork on the hood and side panels. I finally got to lay a little color on them. Aside from a couple of dents I missed, they turned out great. I used Rustoleum farm and implement paint and it laid down great. It’s about $8 a can, but I may try IH red on my D160 when I get a chance to work on it. Pics are of the outside of the panels. Once again @WHX22, close your eyes so you don’t see my immaculate workspace!😂🤣😂 5
WHX?? 48,814 #28 Posted May 5, 2019 Don't worry Dells.. I been in @Achto's shop so nothin is gonna surprise me! Paint looks good and isn't it annoying one can't spot those little dents? I call them character on a resto!

dells68 7,498 #31 Posted May 14, 2019 Almost wrapped up the wiring and fuel lines on the ford tonight. Put in the headlights and couldn’t resist fitting one side panel. Getting closer a little at a time. I can’t wait to show it to Dad. He hasn’t seen it since I hauled it from the house. Remember, he sold it new! 2

dells68 7,498 #40 Posted May 30, 2019 Thanks guys! Not done yet, but almost. That was the coolest feeling to ride that old tractor again after so many years. My Dad and I put a lot of hours on it so many years ago. Hopefully I’ll get to get the decals on today or tomorrow. Emory can’t wait to take it and show it to Dad. It’ll get an old black seat I’ve got until I pick up that nice Ford seat from @pfrederi at the show. Talk about perfect timing with him getting that one!

dells68 7,498 #45 Posted May 31, 2019 Dad came to get Emory for a haircut today. Emory was dying to show him, but I still have a special something to add thanks to our very own Terry, @Vinylguy! More pics to come. 1
Pullstart 62,834 #46 Posted June 1, 2019 Dell, I don’t recall reading but does your dad know you’re bringing this one back to life?
dells68 7,498 #47 Posted June 1, 2019 He does know Kev, but hasn’t seen it since it looked like this. We’re going to take it over today and let Emory drive it up the driveway for him to see.
dells68 7,498 #48 Posted June 1, 2019 Well, she’s ready for her unveiling at Dad’s. In the pictures you’ll notice a Ford tractor dealership decal. My grandfather was Eubert Jones, 1/2 owner of the dealership. My dad was a salesman and delivery driver. My uncle was a mechanic. Dad sold this tractor new and was able to purchase it when it was taken back due to repossession. It’s been in the family ever since. The first pic is a pic of the only original decal we have left - on the front of Dad’s 2000. Terry , @Vinylguy, was kind enough to make me up a batch of exact reproduction decals. Thank you so much Terry!!!!! It was the cherry that put it over the top! 1 8 1
