Front(mid?) Mount Plow

Recommended Posts

Alex175

While cleaning up their farm recently my aunt gave me a plow she had that she believed belonged to my grandparents old Wheel Horse that I now have (C-175).  It wasn't for my tractor, but I was able add a few items to it without butchering anything to make it work for a season. I have since purchased the proper plow for my 175.  Now I am stuck trying to ID what models this plow actually belongs to. I've been searching the forums but have yet to see any quite like it on here yet, does anyone know?  I'm also stuck between selling it, trying to find a tractor to go with it, or keep it for spare parts for my other plow so if anyone has an idea on a value of it I would appreciate it.

Boy that's an interesting looking piece of Machinery isn't it?

What modifications did you have to do to make it work?

Perhaps it fits a 200 series?

@ebinmaine You'll notice in the picture I made a hanger bar with threaded rod, nuts, and pipe as bushings, and i had to lengthen the lift arm by a few inches so I bolted on a an extender piece.  All modifications were bolt on as I didn't want to butcher anything.  It "worked" but was sloppy and I was afraid to damage anything, which is why I spent the money to just get the right plow like I should have in the first place.

@Alex175 @ebinmaine, 246 or 252,  but not the newer 260 series...

I was going to say that plow has similarities to the one I had for my 210-H One thing that threw me of was the 60's decal.
