Stepney 2,325 #1 Posted April 1, 2019 (edited) Hey, all. Not sure if I should put this under attachments, or general. Anyway, some months ago now, I was given a rather unique one owner 1966 1076 auto, complete with add on hydro lift, cab, deck, blower, and a mountain of paperwork. (By this, I mean the P.O. kept track of every oil change, nut tightened, the infamous sundstrand valve springs changed 3 times, replacement bolts.. etc. Even have the warranty card and sales slip.) Anyway, here she is. On with my question. It has an original, by the papers, I'm assuming 1966 vinyl full cab. The rear 'window' is broken out. All the vinyl is a bit shrunk up, filthy, and the framework broke in a few places and was shoddily repaired. I have some experience with old snowmobile seats, but often it's a fruitless effort trying to revive this stuff. Along with worn zippers, broke windows, etc.. While I'm sure Toro doesn't still sell these sections, does anybody reproduce them? I've pondered having a upholstery or boat shop rebuild it, but I'd like to retain the WH markings. WVHillbilly520H 10,373 #2 Posted April 1, 2019 The "ORIGINAL CAB COMPANY" actually made them for WH and they are still in business but getting the white vinyl and logo is highly doubtful...

Sarge 3,463 #5 Posted April 2, 2019 About the only choice you have is to find someone with an industrial sewing machine and the experience with working on canvas. Boat shops, ag canvas tarp shops and such should be able to sew in new panels or even make a whole new cover based off of the dimensions of the original panel sections. That stamped logo is another thing - but a good custom t-shirt shop might be able to do a hot transfer to match the original if they don't mind copying the logo or aren't afraid of the copyright. I believe the original logo was a simple ink transfer stamping from the looks of them. Sarge
GlenPettit 1,716 #6 Posted April 2, 2019 Check with Terry Dennis for the Wheel Horse logo, he can custom make them: ReDoYourHorse.com. (he's listed in the Vender section here on Red Square).
