6.5 hp predator for now. I tried to fit a 10 hp Briggs but it hit the hood support. I might make a custom hood support after the Big Show. I’ll leave it alone If the predator runs good enough . 

I’m also making a set of wheelie bars that hook into the hitch. That way the height can be adjusted with the lift lever depending on how high we want it to wheelie. We are going to take it to Atco dragway when it’s done . I might have to mount a parachute on the back 🤣.

Got the engine in. It bolted right up. Had to add spacers to the hood to lift it. 

 

I need to to locate a belt guard. I saw reproduction ones on eBay but now they aren’t there anymore. 

 

I think I’m going to name it Fifty Shades of Black because of all the different black parts on it.

I was hoping to use the predator gas tank for now until I find a suburban one at the Show but the shifter hits it and I can’t. I might have to warm the shifter up with a torch and put a slight bend in it if I can’t find one.

I wouldn’t want to mess with the shifter.  What about zip ties to temporarily hang the predator tank under the hood?  Or search flebay for a small cheap used tank to use until you find the right one?

I have an old Kohler K91 fuel tank you're more than welcome to have if you'd like it. It looks like a mini-suburban tank (same shame and fill port) but I think it's slightly smaller. May be able to make it work for the short term.
