The Tuul Crib 7,336 #26 Posted March 23, 2019 My experience with radial arm saws is the proper space needed to operate correctly does take a lot of room . You can do a lot will one but myself I prefer a 12 inch slide . We have two at the bus shop and you just can’t beat ‘m . It will cut a 12 inch board with no problem. I make larger cuts with a router. cleat 5,809 #27 Posted March 23, 2019 I have a DeWalt 12" sliding compound miter saw with stand and use it for almost everything. Even made all the cuts for my aluminum railings on the front deck. Cleat
PeacemakerJack 10,738 #28 Posted March 23, 2019 In keeping with the topic...I used my DeWalt compound miter today running some base trim... Real basic cuts on this flat base trim but the saw worked great! This pic makes it look like I’m sponsored by DeWalt. I’ve used some of the other top brands and I like them too. This is that saw that was available for a good price though and I like it! Good luck in your search Eric. Make sure you post what you end up buying, I can’t wait to see what you get...
