We don’t interact much on FB and have never used FB messenger to communicate but today a Bob Maynard imposter tried to talk me up. Not sure where this scam was going to lead, most likely a clickable link that would be loaded with some sort of virus. I forwarded it to Paypal and they said the internet address was from Russia. rmaynard 15,427 #11 Posted March 21, 2019 So I'm working at my daughter's house yesterday putting in a new sliding door. She says to me "Hey Dad, your Facebook account has been hacked". My response was "how can that be? I rarely am on FB". She said her friend in New Jersey got an unusual message from me. So, long story short, I was hacked.
