Stepney 2,325 #1 Posted March 1, 2019 Hello, all. I got a decent little single stage blower along with my new 1076. The one thing I'm missing is the lift flag and rod. This is the blower with the wheels up front. We might be getting some snow tomorrow and I'd quite like to give it a shot before the season is over. I have a mostly flat straight driveway and there wouldn't be much turning involved. . Would it hurt anything to try it out without the lift?
WHX?? 48,788 #2 Posted March 1, 2019 Probaly not but might be a little tough to do turn arounds without the blower in the air. Lowell https://www.wheelhorsepartsandmore.com/snow-blower.html might be able to help you out with missing parts.

I was moreso worried about bending or damaging anything on the blower. Might just throw the plow on instead.

pfrederi 17,669 #5 Posted March 1, 2019 Broad sweeping turns going forward. You could do somewhat tighter backing up But you would need a lot of space
Ed Kennell 38,023 #6 Posted March 1, 2019 I don't think it would damage anything. Maybe your pride if you get stuck. I would raise the blower wheels as I think it would slide sideways better on the scraper bar than on the two wheels.
