Welcome to Red Square.  :occasion-xmas:  The seals are available from TORO...#83-2840 .  Grab a chair, they are about $23 apiece...but worth it for that horse.

AMC RULES

Confirm first, that your bronze axle bearings aren't worn excessively...otherwise you'll just be throwing your money away installing them new axle seals.

:WRS:  Good to have another Cheese Head on board!!

As Steve said these are only available from Toro & yes they are pricey.

As AMC said check you axle bushings. If there is any play in your axles, butting new seals in will be fruitless.

To check you bronze axle bearings, grasp the axle shaft and try to move it up and down.  If it moves more than a tiny tiny visible amount your bearings are worn and need replacement.

I see that... just scored a few nice K91's down in your area...:hide:

The Techy recoil & cup should work fine.

i bought mine from motion industries. when i redid mine. they had all the bearings, bushings, and seals. and i asked if they had american made ones and they did. So i bought all american made stuff. it was made here in the good ol usa so i wanted to keep it that way. it didn't cost but a few bucks more. well worth it to me. So mine has a totally rebuilt transmission. she works great!
