I can get pics tomorrow. They're just very weak. When I got this plow there was a couple of parts that were very very rusty. Apparently the insides of these springs have eroded away quite a lot. They trip the plow forward quite often when it just shouldn't be going.

Eric, they aren't cheap, those springs on mine (originally early 42") have set outside for many years and are still better than the set I got with the NOS xi series blade I got 4 years ago that I fixed by shortening... Lee1977 6,643 #5 Posted February 25, 2019 What is the size of those springs. In side diameter ? Wire diameter ? The length? They look a lot like old garage door springs. I have an old garage door spring it's about 1" in side and the wire is 3/16" diameter.
ebinmaine 67,277 #6 Posted February 25, 2019 @WVHillbilly520H funny you say that. The ones on my 42 are also much stronger than these from the 48. @Lee1977 good question... I'll check them sometime soon.
